Executive guidance for less reactivity

Live a 9/10 happiness day. More days than not.

I help founders, builders, and serious practitioners raise their baseline wellbeing, see through costly emotional loops, and make cleaner decisions without losing their edge.

Not traditional breath-counting meditation. Not spiritual sauce. This is practical seeing: sensation, story, safety, and behavior change in real life.

The aim: raise the floor, not chase peak states. Less rumination, faster recovery, more ordinary peace.

The real bottleneck

Your peak states are not the issue. Your suffering floor is.

Most people try to feel better by adding more: more routines, more optimization, more insight, more pressure. But the expensive part is often the loop underneath everything.

1

Reactivity quietly taxes everything.

Rumination, avoidance, attachment, aversion, subtle dread, trying to control outcomes — all of it burns attention before you even begin the real work.

2

Most meditation advice is too generic.

“Just sit more” is not enough when your actual issue is a specific loop: fear, selfing, status threat, relational grasping, or old conditioning.

The intervention

See the mechanism clearly enough that it stops running you.

Then make the nervous system safe enough that the shift holds in ordinary life: calls, work, relationships, money, uncertainty, and the weird little moments where the old pattern usually wins.

The method

Wake up. Clean up. Show up. Grow up.

This is the clean version: direct perception, somatic safety, behavioral cadence, and adult-development perspective — applied to your real bottlenecks.

01 · Wake up

See what is actually happening.

Direct pointers for sensations, selfing, grasping, aversion, and the stories that make suffering feel mandatory.

02 · Clean up

Make the system safe enough to change.

Somatic unwinding, shadow-aware reflection, and pattern mapping without over-reifying parts or turning everything into pathology.

03 · Show up

Install tiny reps where life already happens.

Simple practices for meetings, messages, relationships, procrastination, and decision moments — not just cushion time.

04 · Grow up

Widen the frame you act from.

More nuance, less drama, better boundaries, cleaner leadership, and the ability to hold more complexity without collapsing.

What changes

Less internal drag. More clean aliveness.

The work is not to become a calmer personality. It is to remove enough unnecessary suffering that your natural intelligence, love, humor, and agency are easier to access.

less suffering

My own reported reduction after years of anxiety, depression bouts, procrastination, and disconnection — the lived basis for the work.

shift in the real bottleneck

We do not boil the ocean. We choose one costly loop, measure it, and create the smallest reliable corrective move.

9/10

baseline over spikes

Peak experiences are nice. The deeper win is a higher ordinary floor: less stickiness, less contraction, more okayness now.

How the work unfolds

A guided process, not a pile of spiritual homework.

You get enough structure to stay oriented and enough responsiveness that the work stays alive and personal.

Step 1

Diagnostic: name the loop.

We identify the recurring pattern that is costing you the most: anxiety, grasping, avoidance, relational contraction, procrastination, or “spiritual progress but still stuck in life.”

Step 2

Direct seeing: separate sensation, story, and selfing.

You learn to perceive the loop in real time without making it mystical, abstract, or shame-based.

Step 3

Stabilization: make the new floor repeatable.

We design tiny reps, decision rules, somatic resets, and check-ins so the shift can survive ordinary life and pressure.

Step 4

Integration: act from the cleaner signal.

You bring the work into relationships, business, creativity, execution, and leadership — where old conditioning usually tries to reclaim the wheel.

Proof, not hype

What people say after the work becomes practical.

Ever since I’ve started working with Michael, my progress on the path has catalyzed tremendously. His approach is straight forward and direct. His guidance is compassionate and humorous.

I had very little meditation experience before and it was a breath of fresh air to do fetterwork with Michael’s exercises and guidance. Regularly talking with Michael helped me break the first 3 fetters much faster.

Straight talk

Clear fit. Clear boundaries. No games.

Trust comes from saying the quiet parts out loud. Here are the filters I would want to see if I were hiring someone for this kind of work.

Is this therapy?

No. This is guidance/coaching around contemplative insight, reactivity, somatic practices, and behavior change. It is not medical or psychological treatment, and I refer out when clinical care is the better lever.

Do I need meditation experience?

No. The work is built around direct seeing in ordinary awareness. If you are experienced, we can go subtle. If you are new, we keep it clean and practical.

What if I’m skeptical of spiritual language?

Good. We can use plain language: sensation, prediction, identity, attention, threat response, attachment/aversion, and decision loops. No belief adoption required.

What makes this different from generic coaching?

The core move is not motivation. It is seeing and deconditioning the mechanism that makes suffering and reactivity feel compulsory, then stabilizing the new behavior in daily life.

How do we know if it’s working?

We pick a concrete loop and watch the markers: intensity, duration, recovery time, behavior under pressure, sleep, procrastination, relational contraction, or decision clarity.
